Stefan Bojic was born in Novi Sad, Serbia on March 20 1990, to father Slobodan and mother Nina. Inspired by his older brother Marko's tennis, Stefan quickly developed a love for the sport. Despite limited resources, he creatively practiced at a local playground with his father, often hitting the ball against a local theater backwall. This unconventional training experience shaped his unique perspective, and innovative approach to tennis.

Stefan Bojic excelled in junior tennis, winning the U16 national championship and reaching the top of the U18 national rankings. He represented Serbia in the junior Davis Cup on numerous occasions, and earned ATP points as a teenager.
